Our 4th Anniversary

This Friday marks our 4th anniversary. We spent the last weekend at Raffles teh Plaza for a small get-together with friends. We had a great time with the usual fondue, we even played mahjong and watche dthe gay cartoon on youtube about rick & steve. We will be catching Nic's fav signer this Saturday at concert too. Hooray!

When we caught Eternal Summer on Sunday, the POSB Everyday Card had this one for one offer. So we wacthed it on Labour Day. Thing is.... it is too DRAGGY. I wonder what the character development thing was about when it came to an action film.... anyways, the action was still good... just disappointed.

"Taiwanese pop star Wang Lee Hom denies gay sex for pay"

Wang Lee-hom, a Taiwanese pop star, has rebuffed rumors that he had gay sex for pay with K.T. Yen, the Yulon Group CEO. "Bullshit! I don’t know him (Yen) and never met him. The story is not worth wasting my breath on. Some media have no professional standards. No truth at all. I’m very disappointed,” said Wang during a press conference for his new album in Beijing. 　　
The story goes back to popular Taiwanese Much TV host Emi Lee. Last week, she claimed on her TV program that some Taiwan tabloid journalists had taken intimate photos of Yen and Wang when the couple was traveling in Japan. Lee said Yen had paid 60 million new Taiwan dollars (US$1.81 million) not to print the pictures. After that, Lee’s claims were published in Taiwan’s newspaper China Times in a full page questioning of 29-year-old Wang’s sexual orientation. 　　
The first outraged person was not Wang or Yen, but Lee. She insisted that the China Times garbled her remarks. “I had said in my program that Yen and Wang’s affair was totally gossip,” said Lee. She insisted that she never mentioned the Japan trip. “Tabloid reporters should not use another person to say what they really want to say.” 　　
On Thursday, Wang held a press conference in Taiwan to clarify the rumors, including his sexual orientation. He confirmed that he would take legal action against Lee and her program. “I will sue all of them. Why didn’t they ask me before doing the program?” said Wang. As to Yen, one of his colleagues said: “Mr. Yen doesn’t know Wang at all. He has nothing to say about the funny news.” 　　
After the press conference, Lee apologized to both Yen and Wang, saying that the TV station will soon take legal action against the irresponsible reporting of China Times. Wang’s label Sony BMG also had its lawyer release a statement Saturday saying it will sue Era Co., owner of Much TV, the China Times, and any party involved in the slander, demanding 10 million new Taiwan dollars each from Era Co. and the newspaper. In the world of show biz sex tidbits, R&B singer Wang is rarely mentioned in any liaison.

It's our 3rd Anniversary

We celebrated our 3rd anniversary in a Grand Room in the North Tower of Raffles the Plaza with a dozen other AJs, wine, chocolate fondue and lots of congratulatory well wishes. The suite we stayed in looks somewhat 50% more grand than the grand room depicted above. We also made use of the Amrita Spa facilites and we all had a good time at the pool too! One important lesson for us all - never take your partner for granted! Listen to their needs. Nic and I felt extremely glad that we are very open about things and we share our every grouse with each other. We really hope that one of our friend's wishes for a good 30 years ahead comes true. Thanks guys for the great time... we really enjoyed the company.

After watching the show, I didn't really think there was a "BIG DEAL" at all... See an atricles posted back in Feb this year:

"Well, to my knowledge, I was not in the room when there was discussion about the codpiece and frankly, I don't really understand the uproar over it, though technically I guess you could file it under 'Good News,'" Routh says. "It's better to have good news spread about the film than bad news."
Routh went on to explain the logistics of how he filled out his super-tights. Sorry, ladies, there was apparently at least some enhancement.
"To be honest a lot like a baseball player's protection or football players wear protection for that area," Routh admits. "That's pretty much what it is except softer because I didn't have to worry about getting hit in it."

Another day in paradise

Nic & I had a wondeful weekend. We checked in to Raffles the Plaza on Saturday and invited AJ friends over for a mini gathering. The room was splendid. Looks very nice.

We finished a couple of bottles of wine and spirit and headed over to the Raffles Hotel for dinner. Thereafter, we had a romantic evening just huddling together watching TV and doing nothing else (if you believe).

Tom Cruise strikes again

The latest news is that Tom Cruise will be playing the role of IRON MAN... The interesting thing here is that Cruise has long been rumored to be interested in the role, and back in 2004 before Favreau came on board Tom was thought to be a lock for the part. Iron Man never really got going and Cruise’s name fell off the project. But it seems now that Favreau is pushing the thing forward, Cruise is interested again.
