2.5 Mil join Pride Day in Sao Paulo

A new world record of 2.5 million people attended the world's biggest gay pride festival on Saturday 17 June, in Sao Paulo, Brazil , far more than the 2005 official count of 1.8 million. The theme of this year's event is to stop hate crimes against gays in Brazil.
